    Avast for Linux False Positives?

I was wondering if anyone has had problems with Avast for Linux giving out false positives? I scan my /home/myfolder/ every now and then and I had copied all my media files from my old fat32 and ntfs partitions before I burnt them to disc and deleted those partitions. It told me that two .mp3 files where infected. So I just deleted them. Now it is telling me there is one file, so far, that is an .avi that is infected. Now I do remember scanning these files with AVG when I had Windows installed and it did not show up as an infected file.

    Any thoughts?

(Yeah, I already know that there is no real need for anti-virus programs in Linux. But I do know a lot of Windows users and I don't want to accidentally send them anything that is infected or might be.)

Hmmm, strange. It seems if I do a complete scan of my home directory then I get these "false positives." But if I specifically scan the folder that these files are in then it comes back clean.
