The message is clear: you can't update snap-store because it's open. snap-store must be closed to be updated.

sudo killall snap-store
sudo snap refresh snap-store

On my system camera works just adding video group to my user

On my Ubuntu Noble in nautilus "Ctrl+c/v" works fine.

After installing pipewire 1.0.5-1 from proposed and reboot Snapshot is working

I think you should add that you have nvidia gpu

For me problem was solved just with full-upgrade

In Ubuntu 24.04 cheese has been removed and replaced by Camera (gnome-snapshot) but camera does not work
tested on 3 different PC with different webcams....
